The new effort comprises the proposed Corridor VII, which will run 13.4 kilometres from Miyapur to Patancheru as part of Hyderabad Metro's second phase. This corridor, when combined with the LB Nagar to Hayathnagar extension (7.1 km) and the operating Miyapur to LB Nagar Corridor I (29 km), will provide a smooth 50-kilometer metro route from Patancheru to Hayathnagar.

JBS is being transformed into a giant metro hub to serve Secunderabad and northern Hyderabad's commuting and logistics needs.
