Hyderabad Metro intends to build a 60-kilometer corridor that will connect Medchal to Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) and the airport. The initiative intends to improve connection and streamline public transport around the city. The Hyderabad Metro Rail officials have announced plans to build an integrated metro hub at Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) to improve connectivity in the city's northern areas. The project will connect the Paradise-Medchal and JBS-Shamirpet Metro routes to the existing network, improving public transport across Hyderabad. Seamless 50-kilometer connectivity from Patancheru to Hayathnagar

The new effort comprises the proposed Corridor VII, which will run 13.4 kilometres from Miyapur to Patancheru as part of Hyderabad Metro's second phase. This corridor, when combined with the LB Nagar to Hayathnagar extension (7.1 km) and the operating Miyapur to LB Nagar Corridor I (29 km), will provide a smooth 50-kilometer metro route from Patancheru to Hayathnagar.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's vision Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has recommended first connecting the Paradise-Medchal and JBS-Shamirpet Metro corridors and then separating them into two independent routes. Inspections were done in the Cantonment region to investigate potential alignments, including JBS-Secunderabad Club Road, Mudfort Road, and Tivoli Junction Road. Proposed Solutions and Benefits To avoid tunnelling below the airport, the crew decided to join both Metro corridors at JBS. The Metro alignment would use wider service road medians to minimise interruption to existing NH flyovers. This alignment will create a 60-kilometer Metro route connecting Medchal, JBS, MGBS, Chandrayangutta, and the airport. The JBS-Shamirpet corridor's alignment will continue directly from the first Metro pillar near Secunderabad Club

JBS is being transformed into a giant metro hub to serve Secunderabad and northern Hyderabad's commuting and logistics needs. The project will involve the pooling of around 30 acres of property owned by the state government and defence authorities. This ambitious endeavour is a crucial step towards improving Hyderabad's metro connectivity and making transit easier for inhabitants throughout the city.
