Hero MotoCorp is preparing to make an impression at the Auto Expo 2025. The company will introduce four new goods at the exhibition, all of which have already been unveiled. Perhaps the most anticipated introduction is the new Hero Xoom 160, which was unveiled at EICMA 2023. This is a maxi-scooter with 14-inch wheels and a new liquid-cooled 14hp, 13.7Nm, 156cc single-cylinder engine. The Xoom 160 weighs 141kg and has keyless ignition, a fully digital dashboard, remote seat opening, and split-LED headlights. This scooter will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia SXR 160, marking Hero's foray into unexplored terrain. So it'll be interesting to see where that fits in. For reference,The Yamaha Aerox is priced between Rs 1.49 and Rs 1.53 lakhs.
Hero is also preparing to debut the revolutionary Vida Z electric scooter, which was unveiled at EICMA 2024. The Z is the second model in the Vida lineup, positioned as a family scooter. With basic features like a traditional key start, this is expected to be one of the most affordable Hero electric scooters. The Vida Z will have similar underpinnings to the Vida V2, but it is expected to be less expensive when it releases.
Hero will debut two motorcycles: the Xtreme 250R and the Xpulse 210. The new Hero Xtreme 250R features a new 250cc liquid-cooled engine based on the Karizma XMR's 210cc powerplant. Finally, the new Hero Xpulse 210 shares the same 210 engine as the Karizma XMR, but with some internal tweaks to increase tractability. The Xpulse 210 is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 40,000 higher than the old Xpulse 200 4V, which will remain on sale. We predict the Xtreme 250R to be priced around Rs 2 lakh.
